No. Psychotherapy is distinct from spiritual direction or pastoral counseling. However, with your consent, collaboration with clergy or other spiritual supports may be incorporated when appropriate.

Faith-integrated therapy recognizes that spirituality can be an important aspect of a person's identity and well-being. When desired, therapy may include discussions of faith, values, prayer, or spiritual practices alongside evidence-based clinical care.
